U1W3 Lesson 4
This week, students continue Number Worlds, Level F, Number Sense. Students will explore prime numbers and break whole numbers down into various factors.
Skills Focus
Find factor pairs of a whole number, and understand that many whole numbers break down in different ways.
Use area models to list the factors of a whole number and determine prime numbers.
Determine whether an expression is a prime or a composite.
Determine if a given number is a factor of another.
